Our Mission

The Truth and Transparency Foundation (TTF) is a non profit organization that believes increased transparency results in fewer untruths, less corruption, and less abuse within religion and other faith centric organizations. The TTF, through projects such as MormonLeaks and FaithLeaks, provides sources and whistleblowers the technical ability to anonymously submit sensitive documents for use by professional and citizen journalists for starting and expanding news reporting, public commentary, and criticism related to religion and faith. It is the hope of the TTF to leverage said reporting, commentary, and criticism to promote and encourage transparent financials, policies, and statistics from religions and religious non profits.

Our Objectives

To promote and encourage transparency of the following aspects of all religions and religious non profits:

  • Finances

Religions should be held to the same societal and legal standards as other non profits when it comes to the transparency and taxation of their finances.

  • Policies

The policies and procedures of any religion that directly and negatively affect its membership should be well known and publicized.

  • Statistics

Statistics on sexual abuse cases and settlements, other legal cases, membership, attendance, and demographics should be published regularly.

Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth.
